Great Wedding Stuff, Amazing Prices!

It's important to have yourself measured correctly by an experienced bridal seamstress before you decide what size gown to order.

Each designer uses a different size chart so you won't be able to assume that a size 8 from manufacturer "A" will fit the same way a size 8 does from manufacturer "B".  Have your measurements taken first. Then cross reference them with the size chart from the designer of the dress you've chosen.   Choose the size you feel most comfortable ordering.  Remember however, it is much easier for a seamstress to take a dress in than to let out the seams.

Remember! The final decision and responsibility on what size to order is, of course, up to you, the customer.  Bridal clothes are special order items and cannot be returned or exchanged.  This is why it is imperative that you make an appointment to visit your local seamstress and acquire accurate measurements before ordering your gown. Plus, arrange and schedule a follow-up appointment with the bridal seamstress to fit your gown before your wedding.

Bust:
Measure around the widest part of the back, straight across the fullest part of the bust, not under the bust line. Be aware that wearing no bra versus a strapless or regular bra can make quite a difference in measurements.

Do not use your bra size measurement since a 34A is a very different measurement from 34D. Plus, note that the time of the month that measurements are taken can cause bustline measurements to
fluctuate.

Waist:
Measure around your natural waistline. Make sure you're not
holding your stomach in while you take this measurment!  Leave one finger under the measuring tape so that tape can be moved. You don't want to give us a skin tight measurement.
Hips:
Measure around the fullest part of the hip. Put your thumbs at your natural waist and rest your hands on your hips. The tip of your fingers should be the area to measure for your hips.

Extra Length:
Extra length is available for most bridesmaid gowns and should be strongly considered if any member of the bridal party is over 5´7" or 5´8", depending on the manufacturer and height of heel being worn.  Shorter lengths to measure are never available in bridesmaids.
